February Goals

One month gone already! I can't believe it's February. It's gone crazy fast, maybe because I'm hustling extra hard. But here we are. That time again. So what do I have on the agenda for February?

Here is my To Read pile (not pictured is my NYT bestseller study book--All The Missing Girls by Megan Miranda:

And here are my monthly goals:

I have several events this month as well. One that I'm participating in as an author and one I am organizing in my new role as the International Thriller Writer's Young Adult and Middle Grade Chair.

My event is Trinity Prep Author's Festival. I'll be doing panels and signings with amazing YA/MG authors. It is free and open to the public, so if you can, join us!

And the ITW Event is Palm Beach Peril--a thriller-centric panel event with a few new debut YA thriller writers as well as one more seasoned author and one very exciting headliner! Here's the list:

Headliner: R.L. Stine!!!!! (Goosebumps series and so much more)

Karen M. McManus (One of Us is Lying)

Megan Miranda (Fragments of the Lost, All the Missing Girls and more)

Jessica Bayliss (Broken Chords)

J.D. Fennell (Sleeper)

Sheila Sobel (Color Blind)

I've been busy organizing this event for months now. Some of you might've seen the name of it in my January goals/one of my to do lists. It is the first official young adult/middle grade-centric event that ITW has put on and it is going to be EPIC! So if you are in Florida and can get to Palm Beach on February 18th, I highly recommend that you join me. And if you can't, check back here at week's end for information on a very exciting giveaway connected with the event.

And that pretty much wraps up this month. How about you? What goals do you have for yourself and your writing? I'd love to hear all about them in the comments. Happy writing and happy grinding!
