What I'm Reading, Writing, Doing
It's October and I'm craving all things fall, but Florida is not cooperating. It's still summertime as always here, sigh, so I'm cranking the air and pretending it's chilly enough for apple cider. Still, life is good. I had a birthday, fulfilled a bucket list wish, and have been spending loads of time on my current WIP, the book that I've been working on for just shy of 2 years and am hoping to finish before 2018--PLEASE GOD.
What I'm Reading:
Sleeping Beauties by Stephen and Owen King: I was lucky enough to get to see them on tour last week for this book and now I own a signed Stephen King book and I got to see him in person, both of which were items on my bucket list. Best birthday gift ever!
Audiobook: Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine: Rachel and I share an agent and it's a thriller which means of course I'm reading it.
What I'm Watching:
Spielberg Documentary (HBO): I have watched it twice through and love it. Essential for anyone who loves his movies and is into storytelling. Massively inspirational.
What I'm Listening To:
American Authors on repeat. I saw them over the summer at Warped Tour and again on my birthday. Love them and not just for their amazing band name.
Other Words Conference at University of Tampa: October 14, 2017. I'm participating in a panel about food and writing, two of my favorite things, lol! To attend you need to be registered for the conference. Go to my events page on my website for more information.
***And I just recently finished participating in the fall YA Scavenger Hunt. A great big thanks to all of the readers who participated in the hunt!
